NEWSFLASH!:

Caitlyn Jenner can go fuck herself.

Shhh. St. Bernie has no flaws. He is perfect.

3.7 million registered Democrats picked her over Bernie. But whatever. I am sure he would have won.

Nobody thinks she’s a flawless, holy, girl scout. Not even me, and I consider myself an extremely enthusiastic supporter of hers. She’s done some things I’m not sure about, and said some things I don’t like. Overall, though, I trust that she actually cares about doing the best she can for her constituents. And it’s

People keep saying that shit as if she didnt work, nnetwork and prepare for this for 16 years. What is with you people? These are always the same commenters who insist it should have been handed to bernie by the super delegates because he is so holy. You think we wouldnt be finding out shit about bernie that would

Same people who hate Hillary Clinton because of a string of absolutely fabricated “scandals” and running an email server the same as her predecessors. She has been the target of a concentrated 25 year hit job.

Okay you are making flat out no sense. Either “anointed” means something, in which case she should have won in 2008, or it’s meaningless, in which case Sanders lost fair and square *by number of votes.* You can’t say that her being “anointed” didn’t matter in 2008 and yet somehow mattered in 2012.

You also can’t say

... And how in the world does that equal “anointed”?? There were wild speculation pieces saying Clinton would easily win in 2007 as well, and yet Obama beat her in 2008. Speculation pieces by media != votes, != anointed. Again, are you suggesting that people only voted for Clinton because some media pieces said she

Sanders was not unknown. He’s been in Congress for decades. And your premise only works if you are so blind that you only consider white men “voters”. Women and POC like Hillary just fine.

Two thoughts:

Who was supposed to have run for president that didn’t?

... Again, all wild speculation pieces printed way before the primary even got started. Clearly Clinton being “anointed” in 2007 didn’t stop Obama from *actually winning*, and it didn’t stop Sanders in 2016 from challenging her and building up enough movement to actually get significant policy change within the party.

I voted for her because I believe in her policies, I respect her intellect and experience, and I believe she represents my values. She was my “chosen one” because she was my preferred candidate. It is that simple.

No, I’m accurately calling “But he didn’t have the name recognition of Clinton” as a response to pointing out that Sanders got beat rather easily an excuse.

I prayed that Trump’s despicable “Birther” conference, and the media finally, FINALLY, flat-out calling him a liar (“No, Clinton did not start it; no, we have years and years of videos AFTER 2011 where you are still peddling this”) his poll numbers would dive.

.... Um, how in the world does that article suggest “anointed one”? It suggests that someone who did decently well in 2008 was going to try campaigning again in 2016, and most people figured she would/welcomed it. Many, many politicians take a few bites at the apple of campaigning; Joe Biden was also considering

Yes. He lost the primary. You can make excuses all you want, but he lost. By the time the actual voting started, his name recognition was enough that he could have won. He didn’t. How was Barack Obama’s name recognition in August 2007 compared to Clinton’s?

Don’t just vote, get out the vote.
