I'd never call it "Tilt Shift Simulator."
No shit. It's an artificial bokeh effect from an Instigram app on a smartphone. But saying "bokeh" is more economical, no? If I'm asking for a slider, I obviously understand that the effect is artifice. What you would have called it - "bokeh simulator blur?"
I think that controls the radius of the effect, rather than the suddenness of the effect's transition.
This is neither here nor there, but Instagram's bokeh effect could really benefit from a "feathering" slider. /BLURfocus.
