Wait, there are people who think she’s NOT approaching/at 40? Now I’m pretty pop culture illiterate but I think Destiny’s Child became popular when I was like 14. And I’m 30 now. And she wasn’t 18 at the time...

He posed for the picture .. so he didn’t get caught. However she got caught lying.

I don’t understand why so many people say “there are consequences to your actions”, as if having your name and face spread across the internet, your life majorly disrupted, and being on the receiving end of multiple death threats is a reasonable consequence for being an obnoxious jerk.

You do know there were threats made towards **his family** right? Why would you make this a gender issue? This entire situation just like your comment is petty.

When you seek fame, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that people are going to take your picture when you go out in public. That’s what you signed up for. Do you also feel this faux outrage when someone snaps a photo of Justin Bieber?

If she was “threatened,” then why did she go back and argue with him? I don’t know about you, but I don’t walk up to people I’m afraid of. No, she was not threatened, she was annoyed. There’s a fucking difference.

The guy was out with his wife and daughter, saw a celebrity, took a picture. If you consider this a threat or harassment, then shouldn’t you be out there protesting when it happens to Ryan Seacrest, too?

I have a hard time believing she was anything more than annoyed when the dude has his wife and daughter standing right there, and she had no problem walking up to them to snap photos.

If you believe blind items and have seen some of Schumer’s past joke controversy, she’s supposedly dating a comic who makes racist jokes and enjoys those jokes herself. It is curious that this is the guy who made her feel unsafe and threatened.

Sorry a celebrity worth millions of dollars with millions of followers has 100% of the power. Equating this with street harassment of normal women is a false equivalency.

Kind of like the same entitlement she felt to post his picture to millions of people at the risk of not just him but his daughter and his wife.

Those rude people cant whip up millions of people into a frenzy to start threatening to kill entire families. She is not a typical woman.

I also hope Amy learned just how much power she wields as a public figure.

Is this question a joke?

So...he never said “This is America and I paid for you?” That’s a pretty specific thing. I don’t even like Amy Schumer so much, but I don’t think she just made the whole encounter up. Maybe she exaggerated a tad, and he of course made himself look as innocent and innocuous as possible. So the truth may be between the

but...like...decorum? Was that not a thing?

I’m not an expert on 18th-century France, but I’ll take a stab at some of your questions. I’d appreciate it if someone would correct me, if they know better!

That scene in the brothel was 10 minutes long. Snooze. I want to love this show, but the pacing and editing is as bad as Jamie’s hair continuity.

This was a very exposition-heavy episode and I’m missing Tobias Menzies dreadfully (although *spoiler* at least we found out that Black Jack is alive). I found it visually stunning but otherwise dull.

But didn’t they test the DNA on her and the brother’s didn’t match?
