I always loved the door pull of the Toyota Previa. It’s very well integrated and incredibly ergonomic. It was also great to hold onto without looking terrified, since it’s right on the arm rest.

The Infiniti version really tops the shortlist of pointless vehicle.

Not sure what the issue is with quality. Consumer reports rates them very well and I've personally had a good ownership experience with new models. The newest ones have incredibly well designed and high quality interiors as well.

That elongated front end is also what gives the Mazda the long front end and set back cabin styling of a classic sports car.

On Nissan-Dump the Maxima and Titan (or at least let the Titan run its life but not spend development money on it) and focus on the Rogue, Pathfinder, and something that fits between the Rogue and Kicks. If they can’t succeed in those 3 class of vehicle they don’t stand a chance in the modern day US market.

This reminds me of how Mercedes richest customers often buy an E class wagon instead of an S class

Toyota is supporting a single federal standard. Take away the like sack of shit in charge of the government and this article probably has a different tone. Also, keep in mind that Toyota is the largest shareholder in Subaru, so they do need to side with their money daddy. A single national standard also most benefits

Why get anything other than a Challenger Scat Pack? It's flashy (find a 2017 in green, their best shade of green), loud, comfortable, and affordable. They're also surprisingly reliable for an FCA product! And even if they do break, it's a relatively simple car. It's even possible to get decent fuel mileage with an

I'd argue the Miata is necessary for Mazda. They built a reputation behind that car and being the sporty mainstream brand.

Starred for Previa Alltrac

Dealers are often not more expensive, sometimes even more affordable, that independent or national chain repair shops. Where the price is often higher is using OE parts compared to the aftermarket. I'd personally be concerned about using aftermarket parts on any major safety system such as the collision detection or

If only the stadium that was a short train ride from DC with a train station literally next door was one of the nicest stadiums in baseball. Shame that now I have to root for a team ran by a bunch of morons or the dreaded Nationals.

I just had a discussion about electric vehicles with someone who has worked in automotive service for 30 years. He has a 40 mile commute each way and can’t comprehend not being able to just add gas to continue his trip. The large majority of people aren’t driving over 200 miles a day and have no need to the additional

An Ascent touring would have been a better example. Same general design, but the dash color doesn't even match the color of the rest of the interior. Granted, the Subaru interior is very functional.

My personal favorite line of the episode.

I'd rather see a car buying expert like McParland write something up on residual value and cost to own rather than a poor analysis in an article about an automaker who had a down month due to various other factors.

Max, nice write up. I think you have the used car value theory backwards though. Subarus holding their value is good for new car buyers. A customer who might walk into a Subaru showroom looking for a 2 year old outback might be shocked to find that a 2019 or 2020 is only a little more expensive and offers better

Let’s keep in mind that September had fewer selling days this year and Labor day counted towards what was a great August for many automakers. More concerning is the level of incentives. Incentives were up 4.9% (per autonews) with the "seemingly invincible" Subaru increasing incentives 49%.

Trent Dilfer was elite (as a game manage. Having an incredible defense and kicker helped too). Super bowl winning qb!

What about the loophole where in the nba someone else draws an off ball tech and you choose the shooter? Then the only requirement is making a foul shot. No need to even try and receive a pass.
