Great article David. I was fortunate enough to hear Sergio speak a while back in front of the dealer body. He was amazing blunt with them, but everyone loved hearing what he had to say and it was great for them to hear. He gave the dealer body comfort that the brand would continue to grow and product improve.

I'm relieved the CFO Palmer didn't get the job. Sergio is a money guy by trade and it showed dragging the company out from debt, but the company needs more of a car guy to keep it going into the future. I have confidence Manley can do that. 

I'm surprised Larry David hasn't covered this in a episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Just something as simple as Larry not speeding up as someone holds the door for him could lead to some ridiculous scenario. 

I've had mixed results working on my G35. The brakes have been a nightmare, having replaced 3 calipers. Some engine items are very easy, others, not so much. It's been very durable though aside from the brake calipers. 

I imagine Ronaldo blows Hamilton and LeBron away once you throw in endorsements.

It's probably been mention, but I didn't see it. Detroit Rock City by Kiss is an absolute classic driving song. 

It's essentially just some comedians having a rather natural conversation. Jerry just makes it a little more fun by putting people in interesting cars. It's worth a try, but some episodes are better than others, depending on the conversation topic and who the comedian is. 

The madness of Spain, Brazil, and Germany dropping points early really kept the group stages interesting. 

I’m very disappointed it doesn’t yet work with Android Auto, as I listen to most of my podcasts in the car and my phone is generally hooked up to android auto.

I’ve seen it on Mazda and Cadillac. Not sure about other brands though.

There are two problems with this. One, he got offended when Oriole legend and broadcaster Jim Palmer called him out for not figuring out how to fix his swing. Two, an there’s only one Ichiro kind of hitter. His name is Ichiro and unfortunately he’s still employed by the Mariners.

FCA Wil probably combine Maserati and Alfa dealers over the next few years. Most, if not all, of the new dealers have both. It’s only markets where Maserati was already there and did not take Alfa when they had the chance where this is an issue.

But the same shareholders own Ferrari so they might not be happy about that.

Alfa and Maserati together is designed to compete with the luxury brands. So this overlaps with Maserati the same way a C63 overlaps with an E400, it might be the same price or more, but it’s a very different target customer.

Curry being on seems to ignite Thompson as well. When those two are hot, there’s no stopping this team. Durant makes this team unfair because he’s one of the best at getting his own shots that when the splash bros are having a poor night, Durant can almost make up for it on his own.

One game in and already ten goals scored? I think we’ll have enough entertainment for the next week or two!

This was about as close as a 4-1 series could be. There was certainly a missed called on Baynes when he was 1 on 1 with embiid toward the end. But the sixers also had some poor decision making in earlier games and were seriously outcoached in crucial moments that sealed their fate.

So we’ll be seeing it at Vinsetta during the Woodward dream cruise.

I’d be interested to see how it stacks up against a 320i. Mazda does pride themselves on being fun to drive. It would be an interesting comparison.
