Forever one of my all time favorite cars. So fun to drive. It’s like an MR2 but with cargo space! While the Pacifica is fun to drive, it doesn’t quite match the fun of the Previa. It’s still an impressively quirky car, with the symmetrical dash, fold up rear seats, front drive shaft, etc.

This review echos the review I posted on oppo a few weeks ago. I disagree about the transmission however. I drove one 17000 miles over a few months and found the transmission to be one of the best I’ve experienced. Downshifts when expected, upshifts smoothly, and I only ever got a clunk shifting into gear once and

Perfect explanation. I think you’re ready for your exam. I actually worked at the dealer while finishing an economic degree and explained it the same way. I think you’ll do well on your final! Always helps to make it relevant to real life.

I never understood this. The dealer I used to work at would get allocated like 10 of a car. We’d option 7 of them in popular colors and options, but the remaining 3 would be unique cars. Those remaining 3 were often the ones which held gross the best. Every so often we got a dud that just wouldn’t sell, but it’s worth

This one is easy for me. Absolutely. Through high school and college I worked in a shop, so I had full access to tools and a lift and everything I could ever imagine I’d need. Now I drive a brand new car and live in an apartment, so limited need for wrenching and limited place to wrench. I try to keep wrenching

I’m sure most of it has to do with engine tech. The V8 is a relatively new twin turbo set up, whereas the V12 is a relatively old twin turbo set up, tuned for more low end power.

I’ve done something similar in an AMF GT S. Put it in run, switch the exhaust to loud mode, fire the engine, and enjoy.

I’m interested to see what the price difference for CPO will be. Looking at Autotrader, there are quite a few Ghibli’s between $40k-$50k that fall within the mileage limit for CPO. Would a 2014 Ghibili with the CO warranty actually be worth it at $50k?

I’m sure. But that sounds pretty excessive. I’ve been to probably 100 games at Oriole Park and have heard maybe at handful of racist heckles. And I’ve sat everywhere in that stadium. (obviously none towards Jones. What asshole would heckle their own player)

Only when he does it at Fenway. It’s appropriate there. I’d be okay if he walked the bases. The fans would be outraged, thinking he’s ruining a baseball Mecca. Then the fans would continue to yell racial slurs at Adam Jones and throw peanuts at him. What a bunch of assholes up there.

The current one is old.

Orioles fans call that an Ortiz trot. I think it’s appropriate for Boston, especially after they threw at his head last time around.

I’ve always adjusted my side mirrors so that there is just a little bit of overlap with the rear view, just for some perception. If I can see it in my rear view, I have no need to see it in my side view. It’s especially important now that I drive a car with a blind spot over my right should the size of Germany.

I’m kind of disappointed by this. I spent a good bit of time with the old slk250 and 350 and found it to be a fun little car. It’s biggest issue was most of them were 50k to 60k, which is a lot for what the car was.

Corporate taxes would affect the company’s earnings, which will affect employees and a company’s sustainability. In economic theory, lowering corporate taxes should improve employee earnings and bring in more companies to operate domestically versus setting up shop overseas. Whether this actually occurs is difficult

There’s something special about a home run where you can here the crowd in the background all say “oh my.”

It’s a real shame they don’t have it in the MLS. There are a lot of smaller soccer teams in the USL and NASL that would make up the lower tiers nicely and could use an extra reason for support.

I had the same experience when I had my navy Charger, especially in NY!

I’d like my last ride to be in a Corvette

Goes to the Dodge dealer, hopefully walks out with a Compass or Renegade
