Okay, I'm all for this. I love the idea of this. It's wonderful to see the video game medium used to recreate history like this.

Looking at it more, I also feel like the front page is a little too zoomed in. HUGE images and little text. Not sure I like that.

I'm slightly wary of "must be followed by Kotaku", but if it works, I suppose it works. I will say that I think the layout is - visually - far better than it was before. The blinding WHITEWHITEWHITE makes me miss those old hues of pink and green even more though.

Not surprising - Diablo 1 was VERY good on the Playstation. Wonder if they'll add local co-op to the D3 port.

Ultima 7 basically pioneered open world activities. It was damned amazing at the time for the sheer amount of ways you can interact with the world. For that matter, each game in the series pretty much had radically different mechanics and game engine.
