Dante's Inferno had the scythe/cross dynamic which worked way better IMO than the light/dark powers in Lords of Shadow, and none of the daft collossi. Or the annoying telepath girl. Or the extensive swamp trudging.

It takes more effort to limit the romance options because of gender, because gender doesn't exist in video games, so the code needs to be added so that the game will limit my options because of gender. This is why Fable had homosexuality. Because Lionhead didn't care to put in a limiting factor.

Statue has teats more magnificent than my sheep!

Okay, let's have a game that revolves around choices. Relationship is a choice too! You can take this character, or this one, or this one.

Oh huh. Well.

....

Getting a feel for where enemies are is part of the difficulty. But the hard, fair difficulty comment is mostly with regards to the bosses. That game has the best 3D boss battles ever.

Well, maybe I'd have been more motivated to see the second half if the first part of the game wasn't Swamp Trudger 2010. It failed to grip me from the start.

The level design wasn't THAT bad. It was fine for what it was.

That's my issue. I wouldn't be harping on it if it was just Lords of Shadow.

Lament of Innocence was fun. And I liked it far more than Lords of Shadow. That music! <3

Devil May Cry 3's best asset was it's intelligent game design and difficulty. Bear in mind, I said they're the only people I would trust with an OUTSOURCED DMC. An in-house one would be easily preferable. But I guess they're busy running Resident Evil into the ground.

The problem is it didn't borrow.. hardly anything from Castlevania. It was all inspiration from elsewhere. And most of what was good about Lords of Shadow was already done better in Dante's Inferno. Which, I'm sorry. The Castlevania series by all accounts was ended to make room for Lords of Shadow. Of COURSE fans of

Demon's Souls is the only game this generation to have hard, fair difficulty like DMC3 did.

I don't mind the color. I mind the hairstyle, and I REALLY mind the face.

You know what? Devil May Cry 3 is one of the finest example of fair difficulty in a 3D action game. Devil May Cry is a very restrained, pacing-oriented game.

My favorite is the Caravan deck from Fallout New Vegas. It wouldn't work as a serious deck of playing cards though. What with every card having a unique front and back and all.

Eh. I disagree. It's one of the VERY few recent FPSes I've enjoyed to the end. I'd probably platinum it if it wasn't dumb enough to have multiplayer trophies.

Thanks for the sequeltease ending and not following up on it.

The second two games were great. Gex 3 in particular had some really great world design, for it's time at least. The series transitioned to 3D really well.
