I didn't travel alone, but when I visited Vietnam, there were a few instances where I was walking around the cities alone. No harassment in my (admittedly) small amount of experience. Vietnam is quite a safe and incredible country. You absolutely have to go if you have the chance!!!

You speak the truth

That is good. I am so stealing this

Sounds like you need a new friend...

Thanks to everyone for the advice!!! I think I'll change up my routine by doing higher weights with fewer reps.

I've been trying to do weight training but I have no idea if I'm lifting heavy enough weights... do you know how we are supposed to determine that?

Definitely just did the same thing

Very important question: Does anyone know if they stream the puppy bowl online? I don't have cable and I will cry if I miss this!

HAHA WHY do people do that with sinks? you look down, see there is water everywhere, clean it up with a towel. it's not rocket science...

That is the worst feeling :(

1200 people? that is rough. glad you met some yoga friends!

Oh the Netflix I have watched! And you hit the nail on the head with calling someone to hang out with for no reason. To me, that is the metric of having a good friend. I don't really have anyone here I can do that with.

I've done the social sports league thing... I never quite met the kind of people I liked (think frat dudes). My gym is also full of frat dudes. This is what I get for living in a college town I guess!

Anyone else alone in a new city? I guess my city isn't new - I've been here for 6 months. I do the meetup thing and try to get out when I can, but I just hate these lonely nights, you know?

At the risk of getting bogged down with semantics, what do we think about straight people going to gay night at an otherwise straight club? (non-gawking straight allies, that is)

EXACTLY

I tried once and failed! Some things are best left to professionals... good pho should cook for a solid 12-24 hours

That is simultaneously hilarious and horrifying. What happened next??

I disagree. Masculinity exists on a spectrum, just like any other trait. It is not all or nothing. Women can have varying degrees of masculinity. So can men.

Kimchi-plantain burrito? Is that a thing? I would eat it
