I just edited above: Yes, Job A can wait. I mostly don’t know what I would even say in an email to Job B without having to lie that Job A needs to know soon...

Mind if I ask what degree you have and what kind of jobs you ended up getting interviews for?

Yes I'm currently in a non academic position and I'm looking only for nonacademic positions. My phd is in psychology (but not clinical psych so I can't just be a therapist)

It’s the worst. Luckily I got my degree in a field that provided me with a statistics background as this is literally my only hard skill. Good luck to you!!! How long have you been searching?

I have a terrier who literally sat there and didn’t notice that a mouse waltzed right behind her. Weren’t terriers genetically engineered to hunt small vermin?!?! My doggie is defective!
