It’s still ugly as hell.
It’s still ugly as hell.
probably a play on the shape of the toyota logo. Also, that celica wasn’t the production model.
Well Gazoo Racing runs Toyota’s factory racing efforts in Europe and Japan (WEC and WRC plus SuperGT). TRD I think is under GR’s umbrella as more of a supplier for customer teams.
I don’t see why you have a problem with it. GR is just an acronym for Gazoo Racing. It’s the same thing.
Shoutout to another mighty turbo-four Toyota:
True, but those were quali engines that weren’t made to last a race distance. They were tuned down during races.
Patrick, you need to calm down dude. The Supra isn’t coming out till at least early next year. A friend of mine who has... well, “connections” to Toyota told me that he hasn’t even seen the CAD models yet.
Not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s worrying if you make it so similar that it’s hard to differentiate it from another product.
This is the kind of car the Emperor of japan, Yakuza bosses, and big CEO’s roll in. It’s definitely not for the general public.
The front bumper looks like the TS050 racecar (heck, it even has the lmp1 wheels). The problem is, it doesn’t work on the 86 body.
Nah, if the new turbo is supposed to be faster than the J35, I think we know which one is “peppier” lol.
TBH the civic is now the size of the old accord.
Except the Honda base models are actually well equipped lol.
Yeah, Akio Toyoda is a racecar driver lol.
Must be region- dependend. Here in California we (luckily) don’t deal with snow so they have a great reputation. They just don’t have the huge dealer network and brand recognition that Toyota or Honda have to the general populace.
I wish, but I think Mazda are (rightly) playing it smart. The last time they went to Lemans and had an RX-7, they had to get bought out by Ford. Mazda need to make sure they make good, popular regular cars so they don’t end up like Mitsubishi!
Well yeah, the whole BMW sedan lineup looks the same (also mercedes kinda now), but the Japanese still do a decent job at differentiating their sedans.
Exactly. Who cares about Formula E? (although I’ll admit, a lot of the WEC drivers drive in FE, but) WEC is so much more exciting.
Yet all we do is complain that the 86 twins lack power, and we won’t buy them.
If you look at the reviews of the new Type R, it had minimal torque steer (steering wheel pull) just look at engineering explained’s video: he lets go of the wheel and it tracked straight under power.
