Actually, the engineer’s line about Grosjean was proabably true since Jenson was almost about to pass him at the end of the race.

It’s Tsukuba, which is more technical, and power doesn’t matter that much, so the power-heavy cars are at a disadvantage.

It is NHK, but

Fun Story: I was watching fireworks at Torrance Beach on the 4th of July a couple of years ago and the chicken car drove by behind us honking the horn. It was great!

Now playing

Have you seen Chris Harris’ review on Top Gear, or the new Carfection review? The one thing that is apparent from both is that the new car “is more than the sum of it’s parts”, and feels like “the future of the supercar”. Basically, it presents something that is different from the rest of the class.

I almost fucking cried of sadness when I saw that add recently. That ad is pure bullshit. 99% of camry drivers do not buy a red or blue camry, and they sure don’t know why moncao is so special.

Again, the later Preludes were great, but the earliest ones that he was talking about were criticized for being not so sporty

Except a lot of US market vehicles aren’t even sold in Japan. If you look at the Honda JP website (http://www.honda.co.jp/auto-lineup/?f…) You only see the Accord Hybrid, an Odyssey which is totally different and only the same in name only, the Fit, and the pre-refresh CR-V. It’s clear that (like Toyota) Honda has

You think they aren’t giving one right now? Lol man, you are out of touch. The HSV-10? That raced in SuperGT, not Super Taikyu and featured a V8 engine inspired by their previous F1 v8's (which are a totally different animal compared to the current F1 engines).

Aside from the Current Legend (RLX), you would be SOL. Honda in Japan is like Honda over here. Nice, decent-driving vehicles for the average person.

I don’t know the exact date, but I just know that since around 2008 the Acura designs have been penned in the US.

Kinkakuji and Kiyomizu Dera are always crowded, but they’re crowded for a good reason.

The modern Acura lineup (TL, TLX, ILX, RDX, MDX) isn’t sold in Japan because Acura was originally created for America, and so the current vehicles are based on American Hondas (US Accord, US Civic, CR-V, Pilot). Likewise, you won’t see said Honda’s in Japan since they are designed for the American market.

Besides the honda badge, no. Since like 2008, we haven’t really been getting any JDM honda’s as Acura’s. The only “Acura” sold in Japan currently is the RLX - which is badged as the Honda Legend.

Acura’s styling moved to their studio over here in the US. So I guess you can say nothing happened. It’s just that people other than Japanese designers designed it.

Yes the Smart Car has a similarly pitiful engine, but in this case the S660 is a sporty RWD car. A lot of people want (and expect) unicorn fart-spitting horsepower than a smart car.

More like Japan’s DTM but I digress.
