You had me at “tiny nuclear reactors”.
You had me at “tiny nuclear reactors”.
It hurts the eyes.
Tesla and BMW have done pretty good in that regard, and cheap electricity would just help that. Also, it seems likely that people will be less willing to use clean water for that in the future. Still- going to be interesting to see where this all goes.
Unless you have a tiny country, it was never going to happen. CNG seemed like a better bet in that regard frankly. But better batteries (and Tesla) Red Weddinged hydrogen cars- it speaks to how isolated the leadership of those two companies are that they keep pushing a “solution” that doesn’t work and nobody wants.
“hydrogen-based society”

Note- this is for new cars with incentivized rates (under 2%). For used cars they answer is still NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
At 17 not sure he was more up and coming then 20 other development drivers with more experience and vastly better results. But he had the name and the money. You don’t get a lower level F1 seat on merit, you get it on money. Why do you think Pastor Maldonado still has a seat? Sweet sweet nationalized oil money. . .
Yeah, he and his dad bought that seat and why should he move over for the other guy who did the same. Can’t blame him- but let’s not think that this just isn’t another version of Sauber- no sponsors, no car. That’s why he meantioned his dad so quickly.
He’s ok, but at 17 he would be in the development program level except for his last name and the money he brings. But that’s today’s F1. So Toro Rosso knows the deal.
Not in F1.
too soon
Don’t forget he screwed up Home Depot first— good job Cerebrus! Its almost like hiring the failed Infiniti exec to run your luxury brand. . . .
Pay driver + Legacy F1 kid = do whatever you want
At this point, we are in the Tyson Zone and I would believe nearly anything.
Yeah, I bet they are really nice black leather ones.
Assuming his fingerprints were not all over this. . . .
lol- you think this was voluntary? He said yesterday he wasn’t quitting through his PR flacks- and one day later he does quit. He was told he’s out and offered the easy way ($$$ and corporate defense) or the hard way (fired for cause, contract terminated publically- made official scapegoat).
I assume the delay from yesterday was so he could extract the maximum golden parachute and retain access to the D&O policy and corporate defense lawyers paid by VW. Cause that chump is getting sued in multiple countries, and probably is facing multiple criminal investigations.
I am going to sign them up for a couple of Superfund sites, and saving at least three non-adorable endangered species-then we are good.
