Honestly, that made my day. We may need to find more things to use that song on though. Its a national treasure.
Seems like this is a race for pole position of the Crazy 500.
A good business plan to follow is the Lotus business plan. Build a car that just a few people want and most people don't want at all. Thankfully, Alfa Romeo has decided to fill this niche as well. Good idea.
Let's play the Price is Right— I will take $175,999 MSRP, before options and insane dealer gouging.
Three years too late, and still has that ugly Acura beak. Shame they wasted the NSX name on such a derivative car. Honda you used to be cool, what the hell man- get your crap together. Now its the Accord and a whole lot of bland overpriced toasters. When your great innovation is a minivan with a vacuum its time…
Halo marketing cars. The funny thing is that 1/2 or more of these will never, ever see the track. My hope is when these hit the used market in 3 years, and dentist who just divorces his wife to marry a 24 year old hygienist has to sell it at a loss brings them into my price range.
Different price ranges- I would love to see the GT start at $80k, but that seems unlikely. My guess is GTR Nismo money, before the dealers start gouging. Plus collectors (see e.g. current GT auction prices) are going to hoard them rather than drive them, and that makes me sad.
Everything is awesome, except not sure sure about that 10 speed box. Also those giant FORD's on the grill and tailgate are ghastly, and should have never made it past the design committee. Still, I imagine the aftermarket can fix those.
just like the movie!
Yeah, GM and Ford are killing it right now.
My guess is Nissan GTR Nismo money
Things that made me laugh:
The Corvette Z06 says "I'm your huckleberry"
Interesting. Its not derivative or the horrible retro nonsense the Mustang is saddled with. Looks good. Price may be an issue though.
Its steals design elements from Ford, Chevy and Ram and makes them worse. While not the worse pickup truck (Honda Ridgeline holds that corner), it certainly is the worst new full-size pickup. The only reason to buy this over the superior Ford, GM or Ram models is that your dad own a Nissan dealership (and won't let…
My first ship was a DDG, no grab bar and a much better ride. Although she was a much older ship (no gas turbines, older equipment that broke a lot, very heavy water restrictions when underway ect) so that probably has something to do with it.
No we were based out of San Diego. I remember seeing the grab bar on the bridge when I reported and thought "well that's not a good sign. . . "
I sailed on one of these FFGs back in the late 80's. Not exactly a smooth ride if the ocean was rough.
