I think the sedan in a sedate color like silver is the way to go. Proper Q-ship! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q-ship
Faster processors were needed, which I believe it has now received them.
the same reason certain venues get races and other don't
1984 Chevy Camaro Z28 V8 5 speed Manual. RWD, zero traction control, no anti-lock brakes or limited slip help. Just one hard working drive wheel. This was for NH/MA/CT based New England winters. Oh on crappy tires because I was poor as crap. I drove it in 9 inches of fresh snow behind an SUV on the interstate…
The Alfa 4C is going to be a failure. The Fiat shuck-and-jive on price (its $70,000) put it into Porsche Cayman territory. Its basically an expensive weekend only car, and not really a track toy either. There are many, many options for second/track cars at $70k, most of them better. Car Journo's seem to have lost…
Isn't the biggest issue with the GT-R the cost and what else you can get with the money. Especially the NISMO version. It feels like everyone enjoys driving a free one, but if they had $100-150k for a car they then admit they would buy something else. If you had NISMO GTR money would you even visit the Nissan…
Contrary position. Diners, Drive-ins and Dives is a really fun show to watch. The C3, C6 Vettes appear to be nice stock vehicles (yellow's not my favorite, but its not uncommon for vettes). The stickers some silly branding crap on the Shelby, that will peel right off. Otherwise its a Shelby frickin' Cobra! The…
Love the exterior and drivetrain. Steering wheel needs more buttons.
That's all well and good, but y'all need to do closer to 7-10% to make it a real business.
Not what I said. Most dealers would prefer you finance with them over cash. They make more profit. The dealership isn't worried about you not making payments or that other stuff. And a bad credit check equals even bigger profits for them.
Actually Cash is a negative, not a positive. They want to finance you- they make money off that.
Those are probably based on the assumption buyers can be found for those teams, so basically those are just placeholders. I wonder about Sauber too. Hopefully Lotus+Mercedes= Good Lotus again. Watching Bad Lotus all year has been sad.
Putin doing his best Bond villain imitation. Rattling the sabre to distract the gullible elements in the populace over the deep corruption issues he caused, and the economic disaster he single handled imposed on Russia.
Subaru you magnificent bastard— I read your book!
Dem Tail Pipes. . .
Translation more along the lines of "laid off" than "fired" which implies termination for cause.
An expensive attack jet with almost no stealth? Given how many Russian AA systems are out there, this is an ironic choice. That jet is awesome for 1985. For 2015, I have doubts this makes sense. Its not cheap nor survivable against decent AA. Ground to Air tech is too good (and increasingly cheap) for that now. …
Thanks Doug- I always look forward to your articles. Nice talking with you.
I hope your right- a Valencia Orange 1m Coupe is on my punch list, but not at $55k. Funny thing on STIs they still hold their value to an almost absurd extent.
