But the roads are not limited to Germans, and with the congestion ect top speed runs in tuner cars are very unwise now. Even Top Gear had issues and that was years ago. I imagine they wouldn't even dare now. I imagine the unrestricted sections will eventually go away altogether which is rather sad.

Agreed. But that's the reality of the roads now- event the vaunted German roads. Too much traffic, too many inattentive drivers. Add in cheap smartphones and its even more dangerous.

Yes, and park an Alpine next to it for the Gallic wonder-twins display.

Don't use open roads for speed tests, even the Autobahn (which is much more crowded and dangerous now). While the driver should not have come over at that rate of speed an argument could be made that the driver never had a reasonable opportunity to even see the oncoming car.

I like selling them cars, as sometimes their offers are quite good. And the process is pretty simple. And Carmax doesn't see to engage in outright fraud attempts or deceptive practices, so I would posit that fact makes them better then most used cars only dealerships (and all too many new car dealerships).

Responding to dumb posters encourages them. We shouldn't encourage them (although I have done it lately myself- what can I say, its a work in progress).

Yeah, you have to be super careful in the hill-billy counties. I have run into so many radar traps lately I am thinking of selling my M3. Its just not worth it anymore.

Probably comes down to how nice the ATS 2.0T drives. As mentioned earlier, the 435i and S5 are in another price bracket, where the CTS V-sport is a competitor (which will be nice in coupe form). The 428i and A5 versus the ATS coupe is interesting. I drove an 2015 A5 Coupe (convertible) and wasn't very impressed

wrong but confident- I guess that works for you. You have backpedaled from 435i and S5 to the much less capable A5 and 428i. They're aren't any $65k ATS models (and won't be until the ATS-V). The twin-turbo CTS model (the V sport) is the closest competitor in price and performance to the S5 and 435i you originally

Both are $65k as typically optioned- so more CTS competition that ATS.

Lightly used Cayman S

Probably closer to $70k at this point though.

Ford F150, plus a dog to ride shotgun.

F body Camaro with a manual.

I kind of love Berman now.

The last Roger Moore movie was the worst, as he was clearly too old at that point. And Grace Jones wasn't very good of an actress. And the plot was, umm, not great.

Or will this fail like basically every other sedan they've tried in the last decade?

No worries. It does seem like 1/2 of them ended up as track day specials with big wings on them.

Good photos here: http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-reviews/20… Note, while "only" 200 were made, its basically just an orange M3 with an optional exhaust and spoilers. So not really collectible or anything. So I would venture that its very overpriced.

GIS shows the interior was "custom" too.
