There had been plenty of talk about the 2015 being a significant departure, so that was the disappointment. After the home runs of the Fiesta ST and Focus ST, and how good the Boss 302 was- I had high hopes for Ford making the Mustang the truly modern sports car those engines deserve.

At $50k base, not sure what new sports car exactly outshines the C7. And I am pretty sure Anniston was widely regarded as pretty damn attractive. Although most of the cast wasn't very hard on the eyes frankly.

Sports car is the proper category for both. Pony car is just an invented sub-category designed to hand wave all the terrible shortcomings of most Ford/GM sports car offerings of the 70/80/90's.

That's hairsplitting at its finest on the awards front, as design is factored into most of those awards.

Handsome is a stretch, and there are plenty of retro elements retained to my eye- especially when looking at the rest of Ford's line.

I respectfully disagree. And cite the massive stack of awards the C7 has one already.

Note the price point of the more expensive Mustang variants, the overlapping targeted customer base and the direct competition up to the C6.

It's one of the most anticipated cars of the year, possibly the decade. And here it is, the 2015 Ford Mustang, an evolution of a classic that is still instantly recognizable as America's pony car. And now it's going worldwide.

The big winners are expected to be Ford, with an average YoY increase of 14%, Chrysler at 11%, and Toyota at 6.5%. The biggest losers? Honda at -1.9% and Volkswagen at -10%.

That's right — the CLA is stealing buyers away from the Camry and Accord. Who'da thunk it? It's surprising, but it makes sense when you think about it. While Mercedes loves to tout its $29,900 base price, most CLAs are sold in the $30,000 range (and higher in many cases), which is about what you'd pay for a very

Having fallen in lust with the Subaru WRX Concept from earlier this year, I'm not entirely sold on the styling direction of the production version quite yet. But after seeing this photo of the 2015 Subaru WRX on some dirt, well, maybe I can be convinced to come around.

Well, we are poorly organized and easily distracted. . .

This includes the TL and ILX, though he says the new Acura TLX (formerly TSX) will be better and that the Acura RLX Sport Hybrid will also not suck. Unlike Infiniti and Lexus, they aren't going to try and make Acura a global brand and will instead focus on the U.S. and China and that means better sedans.

The GTR Nismo, especially with the track pack, is probably pretty unpleasant on the road. Just like the fiction of a road going Ariel Atom, this car is intended for the track.

So everyone who said they did for sure will now post their apologies in this thread.

Its basically a track only car at that point, and for nearly $200k there are a lot of fantastic track only cars (or you could just buy an actual race car, trailer and wheels and tires). Because racecar (naturally).
