Holy shit do you know how many times I have been in a store and asked by some dickhead to help them. I used to actually respond with the gruff and obligatory ‘I don’t work here’; now I just don’t respond at all and stare at them until they figure it out.

It’s not really a generational argument. But anyway, there is absolutely no way Steve Kerr said Jordan could not play in the NBA today. Not a fucking chance. You must have misinterpreted the man. Receipts, please.

Neither LeBron or KD are better than Jordan, nor will they ever be. Which is no shame, of course. Thank you and have a nice day, and bring back hand-checking.

I said this last week and was told Houston gives people matchup problems too! Please. This series is all about Durant, and he is why the Warriors are virtually untouchable.

“Wait, what?”

True that, but KD is unguardable in a magnitude greater than either of those players, because he’s so goddamn tall. There was a close game between the Warriors and the Pelicans the other day, and Durant just went and hit six impossible shots in a row down the stretch, against different defenders, and killed the game.

Webber is very good in the studio. His color commentary is forgettable, but in the studio he’s proven he can even host the damn show. They need to get him in and Shaq out post haste.

The difference in teams is purely down to Durant. He’s unguardable. Rockets will likely get that ass beat.

We should also pour one out for Kenny here. He’s like that one dude who walked away from the cornhole and khaki fight posted yesterday, wondering how life devolved to this.

Not giving the Chuckster a pass, but my god, Shaq is the worst. He makes that show infinitely worse.

As soon as Bradley came up, I said to myself, ‘he is going to hit him’. Chapman gets overamped and overthrows, and when he does his fastball invariably sails into the left-handed batters box. He had a past ball/wild pitch of similar variety a couple of days ago that cost them a run.

And this is why I don’t give to charity.

That’s fair, but I just don’t see the negative in mentioning RBIs, or why a good player can’t consider it important in determining how well he (and his teammates) performed.

Gotcha. Thanks.

I don’t think I said they’re good hitters because they have the most RBIs. I’m saying the best hitters happen to also have the most RBIs. So why consider it ‘worthless’?

What is the argument against reporting the amount they’ve sued for? No snark, just curious. Do you think it colors how readers might view/judge the complainants?

I feel like if people picked home runs, they’d be setting themselves up to get drilled by dumb, angry pitchers.

Eh, I think it’s a good stat. Not for sabermetrics I guess, but the people with the most RBIs all-time also happen to be considered also the best hitters of all time. I’d think it would be useless if those things didn’t align, but they do.

Handicap stall all day, brother.
