I assume this means we will be dismantling Gawker Media or whatever you guys call yourselves? Since this site is 99% others’ content (very lightly paraphrased stealing from real news sites’ stories, plus user generated content in the comments, Even by us in the greys) I assume this is exactly the kind of content theft

Prostitution is legal in Nevada, but not everywhere in Nevada, only in cities with less than... (looks it up)... 400k people. NY would likely end up having the same or similar kinds of restrictions, with proscribed regions, areas, boroughs, or whatever.

Brooklyn? AOC’s newest platform will be “PROSTITUTES DESERVE FREE HEALTH CARE”

Honestly I’m glad she disclosed it. Because now I know to take everything she says with a grain of salt. I lived in the district for over ten years after my family got priced out of Manhattan due to gentrification. Dilan was a great senator. The shift in ad spend from publisher sites to digital is very real, and Google and Facebook have been 2 of the biggest beneficiaries of that shift. That said, much of the rest of the original article and this summary are based on false assumptions. While links to news sites probably do make up at least 40% of the

“Journalsim” is dead. As proved by Gawk.

Sophie, your “journalistic content” isn’t worth a used condom and a lint covered nickel.

I think Germany tried something like this. Something called a snippet tax or something. The idea being that Google would have to pay the media outlet to have a link to each story/blog/whatever in their search results.
