Man, I dunno about this. Plaza had the energy, and was totally game, but she doesn’t really have a sketch comedy background, and that came through. She was clearly reading off the cue cards all night, and her jitters got in the way of a high-energy, engaging performance. Just take the “Taboo” skit: she was struggling

“Teenage Bounty Hunters” made me laugh and cry and experience all the emotions in between. I especially loved(!) the character April and I assumed her tempestuous relationship with Maddie would resume in the next season. Just a truly disappointing decision from Netflix.

Rep. Gym Jordan (R OH-4) has announced his will be one of the Republican-controlled House committees investigating this fully. When asked if they would start impeachment proceedings against Kavanaugh should their investigation substantiate any of the allegations, Jordan clarified they would be investigating the

I want Payakan to further evade his pacifist roots and get equipped with rocket launchers.

That looks amazing. Ritu Arya was great fun in The Umbrella Academy.

Come on, people. Where would the Science, Space and Technology committee be without the first man to set foot on the moon?

The Guardian has an article breaking down how James Cameron is the only person on the planet making MegaBlockbusters that aren’t targeted exclusively at 16-25 year old boys.

But the process of machine learning versus human learning is not fundamentally different.”

While it may base its ideas

“According to you, AI is both gonna be used to replace artists, but also incredibly bad. Which is it?”

No, because the person who trained the AI in the first place is the one who used copyrighted images without permission.

It seems to me like a great tool for good artists to speed up their work.

You say you’re an artist, and then you say these things work like artists work. So either you’re not an artist (which, I won’t call you a liar) or YOU in fact do not understand how they work.

How an artist works:
-view other art, other parts of life, their surroundings, their experiences, create a “database” of memories

But by that logic no copyright should exist at all since all works are inherently derivative. The line has to be drawn somewhere otherwise those with scale will always win.

No it isn’t what these systems do, they do not cut up and rearrange other pieces of art. It’s what people who want to rage against them try to convince you how they work because they’re incapable of objective reasoning.

this is where you are wrong, artist do studies for a reason to study not sell in mass production. You know the problem for an artist is if they straight up plagiarize? they get blacklisted if they want to work in the animation/film/video game industries. And they can be sued for copyright infringement which happened

The way that human artists learn to draw and the way that the Stable Diffusion algorithm generates images are fundamentally different. Modern “AI” is still incomparable to actual human intelligence; that’s just a label that researchers put on it to make it seem more advanced than it is, and you’re buying it.

Spoken like someone who has never attempted to learn any skill or craft in his lifetime.

I too can be an absolute dingleberry at times. I also say really stupid things with great confidence.

In all fairness, you are way oversimplifying the Olivia Wilde situation. It wasn’t that she just dated Styles, a younger man, but that she left the father of her kids to do it and in a really harsh way if half of the rumors are true. That Styles was effectively her employee at the time, which introduces the whole
