But I didn’t write pointing people to and deeming them good or bad, I noted that Marshall doesn’t feel like anyone should be held responsible. And those are two drastically different things.

Pentiment and Flintlock were the two pleasant surprises for me here, especially the former. Will have to keep an eye for those and how they look the closer we get to release.

Looks really good and that level of ambition was expected. I’ll still probably wait a little bit after it comes out as I’m more of a story player myself and I don’t know how well you can fit an efficient narrative with that level of exploration. Hope they can do it, though.

Not in this manner, it isn’t. Borderland character don’t interact nor do they offer specific insights into the story. They’re just blank spaces and the story carried a multitude of characters they meet, which doesn’t seem to be the case here.

I’m a little bit nervous about this project based on what they showed here. I like the studio and there’s a lot about the visual style here I’m digging, but at the same time I just find it really difficult to see how these different components fit together.

Eh, people are going to watch what they watch. Hopefully they at least enjoy the movie, although it is kind of hilarious how the last Jurassic World film had the biggest ‘eh’ reflection on it out of all the billion dollar movies I know.

I guess fittingly, considering the podcast in question, I am really torn on how to view Marshall and her approach. I’ve listened to almost all the episodes of the show and have been forced to re-examine my assumptions on several things as well as learned a lot of things about things I thought I knew. I do think the

It is good to see that Gotham Knights continues its efforts at being as confounding and uninspiring as possible with its marketing.

Goddamn comics are awesome.

I started reading the article and when I hit the problematic part, I just.. I couldn’t.

...And you feel that fear could not have been simulated without demanding information about the Passage? Which Leia herself admits having during that particular interrigation? Also Kenobi brings up the information Leia has when talking with the Passage people.

An absolutely delightful episode wtih a truly charming lead. Even with my hesitation due to MCU shows tendencies to stumble, I’m at least from the start fully on board with this story.

As much as I liked this episode, that Antman helmet scene was so hilariously awkward to watch for me. Not just how unrealistic its movement was, but like I think people would realize there is a massive head smashing through stuff a couple of meters from them?

By the way, and I know the following is petty and on a level I usually don’t stoop to with films, but I really hope that Top Gun Maverick eviscerates this film in a manner similar as Maverick taking out those enemy planes.

By the way, for anyone who might know, why are they hiding now that everyone knows that Maisie Lockwood is a clone? I mean it’s not illegal and I don’t really know what the threat to her would be? Actually, wouldn’t she be a billionaire as the sole inheritor of that estate?

For some reason, it was during the trailer for this movie that this frustration hit me with the basic premise. Not the dinosaurs roaming around, but the concept that they would be an existential threat to humanity that could just not be figured out. Like if there is one thing that humanity is really good at, it is

So even by the Imperium standards, that Inquisitor Stronghold had to have some of the security I have ever seen. Although I did couldn’t stop laughing when I realized that Kenobi had decided to infiltrate an Imperium base... Wearing his desert clothes. Also while I don’t want to give notes, do ear pieces not exist in

Digging the sense of the trailer and general mood there.

Don’t really know how to feel about this one. Absolutely loved Joker and was left haunted by so many parts of it, but I also thought it wrapped up in a pretty neat manner. Those final moments reflected how Arthur had now become the Joker so there’s not that story to tell anymore. While I do think there are still

You’re then forgetting a part of it. Before the film came out, there was a pretty big hulabaloo, AV Club itself joining in the fray, about how this was a film that was going to glorify incels and inspire mass shootings. Note that at that point none of the people worrying about that had not seen the film and were just
