Not related to any of the points here, but the polls for the Georgia runoff election are kind of astonishing in that they are all over the place. I mean generally they are showing that Warnock is polling slightly better than Ossoff, partially probably due to Loeffler’s unpopularity.

The best part is that I read an analysis, and once more I hope to be corrected if I’m wrong, over the past 50 years or so the deficit has gone down under Democratic presidents and up with Republican presidents. The sole exception is George H. Bush who did the unthinkable thing and raised taxes.
