The problem is that what you are describing as the sweeping hero’s journey doesn’t even apply to Cyberpunk 2077. You don’t have brancing story pathways, you don’t have dialogue trees. I guess you have world detail graphically, but not in the sense you seem to be implying.

So a legitimate question. You think that Sony pulled Cyberpunk 2077 out of the PS store and started giving, along with Gamestop apparently, refunds just because... overreactions on the internet? Like do you understand how much those decisions will cost for those companies? Can you name another buggy game release they

Not just Powell, but also the right wing news organizations including Fox News. Which is the reason their talking heads ran this bizarre segment past weekend where they had an election security specialist explain that there was no election fraud... before again pitching election fraud for their dear friend Trump.

Even after all the article before that part, my heart just broke when I hit that. Although to correct the post, Shkreli didn’t stop talking to her because of the article, but because Smythe had sent that letter to support his release without his approval.

On that first point, the part that made me breaky out and scream at the screen was where Smythe explained that she wanted the public to understand that Shkreli’s villainy was just a public mask. The way you get a villaneous public mask is if you behave like a villain in public. Which is usually the requirement for

There was a weird part there where Smythe in that future talk where they were planning prenuptials and children’s names, yet later stated that while the letter indicated that she was his fiancee, they were actually ‘life partners’. Now I know that civil partnerships can still have pre-nuptial agreements, but something

The thing here is that they did check details, but they actively sought things that would support the story which caused them to blinded. The other problem is that the reason it could be is that there really aren’t that many people who could provide the kind of story in general that was done here.

What I find a fascinating aspect of the story, and something that is important from the context point of view, is that the Caliphate podcast was supposed to be the next step in NYTs efforts to expand to the multimedia realm after the massive success of The Daily. It is one of reasons why they put so much effort in

I don’t think that’s a fair assessment of the situation, and I don’t mean that to defend it in anyway as it was a major failure. This legitimately doesn’t seem to be driven by an effort to win awards, but rather because they believed they had found something special and the head reporter appeared to have a tendency to

It really hit me when looking at this list, and some of the comments here, how this really wasn’t year for those top games. Which I completely agree wtih when thinking on it, yet funnily I played two of the most fulfilling gaming experiences this year in Valhalla and Horizon Zero Dawn PC version. Both of them left

For me personally, the best game of the year is AC: Valhalla with ease. Just that story and character arc was such an awesome experience to play through. And as I keep mentioning in discussions, Eivor is without any hesitation my favorite AC protagonist so far.

Naturally the whole movie is a disaster, but it would be interesting to hear Clooney speak even more on the subject. It just felt that he had no idea what the take on the character was, which kind of fits with the general mood of the movie. I mean imagine doing any research on the character and then walking in to that

I think the biggest black mark against the university here is how dumbly those frats were handling the business side. I mean this does not speak well either of the quality people of getting in or the education they are getting there.

Yeah, I’m a little bit on the same page as this is pretty much a so what situation. Especially, and this might be where we differ a bit on Odyssey, in that how does someone buying that XP booster affect my play experience in it in anyway? So if someone wants to spend that money on that XP booster, okay, but the whole

They kind of already do as you cast just lower the difficulty. I mean, ultimately, what is the difference?

I mean, if you want to apologize for continuing to bash a game you obviously have not played, at least until the end, feel free as well.

To be fair, very few RPGs are actually have that kind of a branching system, especially majority what are considered the golden ones. Seriously, if you go and play, while there might be a slightly different response to your dialogue choice, it usually always flows to that same next point of dialogue.

For me, it is really interesting to compare V to Eivor from Valhalla, having just finished that game. Similarly to V, Eivor has a ton of set dialogue and limited amount of input from the player to choose his/her reactions, but there, again for me, it managed to hit this consistent nature that those choices really felt

...The ending of Valhalla is the Eivor ending. So are you basically admitting to being a troll who hasn’t played the game? As I perhaps should have figured it out sooner, so that’s on me.

That’s actually what I meant and realized how badly I worded almost as soon as I wrote it.
