Huh on the Liara part. I mean I would get the argument if it was relating to the hilarious way the sidelined the ShepLiara romance in ME2 (Great to see you, Shepard. Unfortunately business calls), but I mean for the Liara/Shep romance arc managed to hit that great spot in ME3.

Something that drives me nuts about Trump is that he somehow manages to be one of the greatest grifters of my lifetime, yet he is so bad at it that it is clear that he is that by accident. Like I don’t that is possible. It’s like when he was just a business man when people were constantly bailing him out of failures,

It’s also what makes some of his statements so hilarious, or would if they weren’t actively harming democracy. When he claims that the news organizations are being irresponsible for declaring a Biden victory as none of the states have yet sealed their vote results, it just shrugs at the point that they hadn’t done so

This is probably one of the most epic examples I’ve seen of how losing doesn’t make you a loser, it’s how you deal with that loss that makes you a loser.

I think what makes the video so great is that Harris and Biden both knew that they got it already a couple of days ago, but you can still sense the relief for it being confirmed now. Something I’ve also noticed that Biden often mentions that he and Kamala were doing something, as it does sense that this is genuinely

Seriously, the escalation between Trump and Fox News is so ridiculously funny in its awkwardness.

Took me a moment to realize my mistake, now laughing about it. Hey, you can have multiple elections a year, especially since I’m certain the Trump campaign would like that second try.

Yeah, I mean the campaign will be analyzed a lot in the coming days/weeks/months as it actually turned out to be a pretty convincing victory despite the first day wave being so red. While it was difficult to see what was going to happen in Georgia and Arizon, otherwise this campaign seemed to have known what they were

Three minor points to add here:

As a sidenote, during this year I’ve found myself, for natural reasons, thinking a lot about Biden and it hit me that he is one of the more complex politicians out there. Now I want to stress that isn’t a positive or a negative, rather that in his long political career there have been shifts in attitudes and views

Jesus Christ the sense of relief. I mean, it has felt almost inevitable for two days now, but still the moment of euphoria when reading that headline. And while there’s a lot to be said about the polls, it does seem like the Biden campaign were strategically smart by keeping the focus on those key Blue Wall states

Damn, I guess I’m playing the Mass Effect Trilogy through one more time. Still to me the best game trilogy I’ve experienced.

Yeah, it’s been really interesting how Biden has not expressed at any point public frustration on the slow vote count and the hesitancy of the news organizations to make that final call. While it must be privately driving him nuts, it is a sign of those political instincts to understand that this is what is needed of

I think this has been, in retrospect, a really interesting case study on what it the purpose of oratory skill in political leaders. I completely agree that while it has been regarded with too much weight at times, these speeches kind of made me realize how much it matters that those leaders can inspire and make their

Elizabeth Warren. I’m not that close with Mr. Buffett yet to just call him Warren, but hopefully with time.

Yeah, I get it. Reading’s hard.

Minor note from a Wall Street Journal report which I saw mentioned on Fivethirtyeight. Apparently Biden has asked a guy called Gary Gensler to be his advisor regarding Wall Street and regulation. Gensler is apparently allies with Warren and has been a voice for stricter financial regulation.

Also want to add that based on the current count, it seems exceedingly unlikely that Arizona will flip back red.

Yeah, but in that situation it wouldn’t just be an unauthorized entry if Trump was still trying to use the power of the presidency, would it? I guess I’m trying to figure out that at what point does it start to become a more serious criminal charge?

I listened to the Daily about the Trump press conference and it really made it clear how stunned they were about Trump’s attack on the voting process. What made it even more striking was that both the host and Maggie Haberman were clear that they weren’t surprised by it due to everything he had done before, it was
