Will with a W8 races an E30

Long track. Not much weight left in the car, front splitter/diffuser and big wing, springs chopped in half (doubles the rate), Billie HDs, stock LSD, 205/55/R15 Direzza ZII*, refreshed stock motor (dyno’d 155HP at the wheels). Helps that it was sunny and 45 degrees when I ran those; actual in-race best lap just snuck

Qualifying time used to set classes, and penalties for going significantly quicker than your qualifying time. That is the definition of bracket racing.

Agree. First time on a wet Mid O with no instructor, during a race?? What did you expect to happen?? One of the most difficult wet tracks in the country with no experience and little preparation, these guys should have never made it out of a backmarker in Lemons.

Chump is very competitive. The leaders are certainly much quicker than the SE30 on street tires in the video.

It’s also bracket racing, which is great if you like racing against yourself instead of actually competing. Chump and WRL are doing a great job right now of offering full-on racing, instead of just matching a qualifying time lap after lap. Give them a try.

Kinda like this?

It’s not for you or the rich people you know, it’s for China. And yes, the owner sits in the back seat.

Lol, no signs of oil consumption means you’re about to have a big chunck of apex seal making its way towards the exhaust. Ask me how I know....

Steve Ballmer, not Gates. Although Steve is known to have hissy fits about lots of things.

Socks!

Ever tried the Highlander hybrid’s AWD? It puts down half the torque of everybody else’s clutch systems (haldex style), and only exists so they can put a badge on the trunk. Yes, it’s cool that they have an electric motor driving the rear, but it is far undersized and utterly useless, especially in the snow. The

Cull the herd.

Scrap. Local junk yards are about $0.08/lb for scrap vehicles. Pick the useful parts and trash the shell, may still come out ahead.

Lunched bearing = lunched trans. Rebuild kits are for worn parts, once you introduce blown up parts, you usually need to replace the whole thing. Also, get some rust converter on that floor before it gets any worse.

Always replace seals when you have large parts out. Although the grease everywhere does help with the rust....

Getting a real air cleaner might help. The stock one was huge for a reason.

There’s your problem. Nice tire bubble.

WTF IS THIS!!?? Lights on wings? Giant bushings on a “formula” car? What are those wheels?? Why are there LEDs in the scoop? Is that a painted exhaust pipe? Why don’t the wings have endplates? Why are there two left side mirrors and no right side mirrors? Is that a body color painted exhaust pipe? Where is the

Used to have one - not that interesting unless you try to work on it, even then, its a similar level of annoying as a contemporary WRX.
