Haven’t played this game yet, but seems they get it wrong from the beginning: telling the player what kind of emotions the game is based on, and therefore maybe also expected the player to feel those same emotions too.

Yep, it feels that the writers are not actually inside the geek scene, so they pick something from the surface level. It feels like almost everytime videogame playing is portrayed on TV: overacting what playing with a game controllor looks like.

Besides the education being top notch here in Finland, we watch a lot of English spoken TV. And we don’t dub it, but sub it, so basically from birth we keep hearing English all the time and learn to read Finnish quite quickly while watching it.

I remember hearing about this movie when it premiered in Finland and then nothing. If I remember correctly, this was a lifelong dream of the producer/writer/director Haaja and cost/almost cost his marriage and finances.

I am a huge fan of the first two games, but I never considered them AAA. Second one was close, but it had those THQ quality issues (the game was actually unplayable for YEARS due to a small but horrible bug that crached the game on every platform when ever it autosaved).

Besides the rhythm games, Street Fighter, Tekken and some weird idol simulator - all the games in those arcades are ancient. And even the former ones have some years on them already.

Huh, Nikka From the Barrel can be found pretty easily on european airports. It’s nice and fits the price tag quite well.
