Yea, you know that the networks are rooting for the Cubs to lose so maybe they can get a repeat next year.

I’m a Cards fan, so I’m just saying the only reason I would take joy in seeing the Cubs win is to see that 80+ year old man/woman who has been a Cubs fan forever finally getting to see their team win... shit like that will make any man cry.

Counterpoint: If the Cubs manage to not win the World Series this year, than they have blown a huge opportunity.

Cardinal apologist here, that is very bad... but I think much of the sentiment here would be for the Cubs to win and STFU already about their dumb “curse”. Also, the Cubs/Cards rivalry is better when the Cubs are a good team. As opposed to being our bitch every year (along with the Brewers).
