Angela was being selfish. That's the point and her right. Being self interested doesn't make you bad. We all make decisions every day that put our own interests above the interests of others. You don't donate all your disposable income to the homeless, do you?

Disagree. I think a cyberpunk Fight Club with a high level of execution sounds like a great idea. I think the execution on this show has been really high. I think it's great. Plots don't benefit from being original and hardly ever are.

I don't tend to lock the door when using the bathroom in my own home.

I will note that in the scene between Darlene and Mr. Robot, that Mr. Robot was unable to get through to Darlene, shouting something like "Can anyone communicate with this woman!" And that's when Elliott steps in. I did not read that scene as evidence that Mr. Robot is real.

He was being escorted out. Doesn't that count as busted? And the supervisor would have been fooled long enough to make a private phone call, at which point Elliot had already hooked up with Wellick. I thought it worked.

I think the network guy is one of those people who carelessly refer to anyone from any part of Latin America as Mexican. That's consistent with his characterization as an insensitive dope.

With the love triangle being foregrounded this episode, I think the show's Jermey problem is really coming into focus. "They have history" is no substitute for actual character motivation. At least with Adam, we get to see Rachel getting in his head and vice versa. The attraction is believable. Jeremy on the other

I think you're making some poor assumptions. Crucially, the rents in these neighborhoods aren't overpriced, they are market priced. Let me relate to you a personal anecdote:

I think the character is supposed to have too much pride, not integrity, to do covers.

I disagree. It immediately dates the show. Is it supposed to take place in 2012 or something? What do you lose if you cut the line?

I don't think you have the right endgame in mind. Maybe in the last episode Mr. Robot "loses" and Elliot gets a kind of redemption, but its only after he gets seduced by Mr. Robot and goes all the way down that path.

I'm OK if it's all just a cyberpunk Fight Club, especially if the execution remains so high. Not every plot has to be unique. It sure seems like Mr. Robot is a delusion, but I don't think the reveal will be treated as a twist.

You are right.

I like the change to put all the one hour shows in competition with each other, even if it looks strange to see OITNB listed as a drama. Maybe rename the category "Outstanding series in the hour long format"

Its silly to have disdain for hipsters. It's developers and landlords and policymakers that gentrify neigborhoods. Hipsters are just normal people trying to live their lives. Folks looking for affordable rent and a nice neighborhood. Young professionals trying to start a family or get established in a career. It's

The joke is that throwing yourself against the wall like a chameleon isn't blending in, it's hyper-conspicuous. I laughed.

I do prefer Adam over Jeremy. I agree the he has some great chemistry with Shiri. He just doesn't have any depth(yet) as a character.

I want to be clear: I'm dismissing the whole movie because I regard Man Of Steel as garbage, not because of anything I wrote about the costume.

I thought Dark Knight was a lot of fun and also good, but its hardly a masterpiece and there's a lot I don't like too. I'll concede that a lot of super hero comics aren't fun, but I think the vast majority of the good ones are. Full disclosure: I'm not a comic book guy. I've read my fair share, but I don't keep up.

I'm not completely unfamiliar with the animated Batman, but its not a show I consumed regularly. The Hamil Joker holds no power over me. For me it's easy: Heath Ledger.
