None of that is a plot hole or inconsistency. It’s just the show withholding details about her character and only revealing them at comedically effective moments. It’s the sort of thing they did with Jared for the entire series run.

Probably my favorite line was Laurie’s comment of “We have rats here in prison...figuratively...they are...dealt with...”
My favorite part was that when it came down to it, it was Gilfoyle who trusted Dinesh to do the right thing.
Funniest exchange of the entire episode:
Decent enough finale. The reveal of the rats, first only by people screaming then our crew rushing to the stage and the distant shot of rats coming down the stairs, for that brief moment, I had that “am I seeing what I think I am seeing?” Perfect.
neo-liberal agenda
Agreed. At least Pod Save America didn’t make the list though
I’m maybe way too forgiving of restaurant problems. My wife is so much quicker at writing a place off after one bad visit. Either way, I’d say a month is fair game- I’ll go within the first month, but not hold anything against them.
I’m totally down with Salty on this one. I’ve adopted a three strikes rule with new restaurants and it’s served me well. I’ve been to places where the first time was awful, second was OK, third was great. That one made it into the rotation. There was another instance where are three were bad. We do not speak of…
Yeah, sorry, Stiller and Williams don’t count. They weren’t “discovered” or "got their start" behind the screen, they had famous parents who pulled strings to secure them temporary employment before moving on to acting.
Also Phyllis Smith from The (US) Office—she was a casting assistant. They liked her line reads so much, they created a role for her.
I agree that the person who should be most offended by all of this is Tommy John
It’s sort of astounding at which the rate norms change. All of that stuff reminds me of old Deadspin comments
Just tell me which episode as the all important garage showdown of betrayal with Noah Emmerich.
It really is a shame he dropped out of the Freddy Mercury biopic. It's wild how much he looks like him.
I’m not going to argue with you about which movie is better because that’s entirely subjective and you’re not wrong in your opinions, but if we’re talking about which movie was more influential, clearly Saving Private Ryan casts the longer shadow.
Ray Wise should be in everything.
Oh my god I can’t believe anyone but me remembers this!! Bravo, my person!
This sizzling hot take brought to you by someone who’s never had a smug little teenage shit disrespect him in his own home. I’ve banned one of my son’s friends from my house for a year for lying to my face about washing his hands after he used the bathroom (I can hear the bathroom sink from the kitchen you little…
I watched the MST3K Yongary episode for the first time just this last weekend. I don’t think it does depend on how you look at it- I’m pretty sure that kid is objectively irritating.
