It's ok that you feel that way. We don't mind. Winning every year does that for you.

Well said.

It'll be tough. Kershaw's 0-2 v. STL this year though.

"Always" in this instance meaning "only 2004." Please continue to ignore 1967 specifically, but also 2011, 2006, 1982, etc etc etc.

You are also weird in ignoring the obvious fact that many people live in cities and towns without an MLB franchise, and therefore grow up as fans of the team that is geographically closest to where they live.

Under your definition, anyone who is a fan of the team from the area they were born in is a fan "by default." So I guess the only true fans are ones who bandwagon onto a winning franchise?

Nobody's talking about the breast cancer awareness gear, you dolt. SAWKS NATION: Now also insufferably defensive!

I'm enjoying "Deadspin trolls Cardinals fans day" at Deadspin, mainly to see how little there is to complain about the Cardinals.

A much-loved, dead announcer?

That had to be hard for you.

There were a lot of stations as powerful as KMOX. But most of them broadcast in areas that had other teams and therefore other fanbases. For a long ass time there wasn't another team west of the Mississippi, and then only out on the west coast. The Cardinals controlled and still control a big geographic area

The Cardinals will politely win another World Series, and express their heartfelt sympathy for causing you more anger.

Nor have the Dodgers. So...your point is?

Thought experiment: If I say "team with the most of its fanbase wearing pink hats," what do you think will be the leading answer?

The irony of a member of SAWX PINK HAT NATION describing another fanbase as insufferable...

They won the NLDS. That's what this article is about.

Cardinals fans are like all other fans: sometimes obnoxious, sometimes full shit, sometimes just regular nice people who like the team in the city they were born in. On the whole, probably less homicidal than, say, fans in Oakland or Philly. But on the whole smarter or more saintly? Probably not.

You got me there, that entire paragraph blows. The others? Not so much.

How are any of these quotes insufferable? Are expressions of fan gratitude for their team, and humble compliments to their vanquished opponent what amounts to insufferability these days? You're searching in vain for an outrage, Ley.

Did JJ Abrams direct this ass?
