Yes, shareholders demand profit. You can’t make profit without revenue. Revenue comes from selling goods and services. You can’t sell things that consumers don’t want. If you sell things no one wants, you go out of business. If you sell what the consumers demand, you make a profit. The shareholders will demand that…

And where do you think that profit comes from, Santa Claus? The consumers give corporations money. They manufacture things that the consumers are willing to pay money for. If people stop demanding cheap crap, the corporations would stop producing it. The only reason Amazon, McDonalds, etc exist and pollute the planet…

Don’t get plants from garden centres, florists, etc., they often carry diseases and die in a few weeks no matter what you do. Get plants from cuttings and seeds instead, and don't plant them in the soil from store bought plants that died, get new soil.
