Yeah. Many people have something sensible and reliable like a Camry. But the enthusiast probably takes care of it, cleans it, does maintenance on it and will still mash the pedal down on the those twisty, windy roads.
Could be. I remember when I first sat in an ES and messed with it (ignition was off) I figured I would hate it. Then we test drove with the dealer and it wasnt so bad. Then we got a loaner for a weekend and that pretty much cemented it as better than a touchscreen.

I meant loss against MSRP (or blue book or whatever you want to call the used vehicle market price). The dealer is already seeing a loss when the car goes to auction. Sell the used cars to the customer at auction value, then, and hope someone buys a warranty. Poof: more profit than you otherwise would have made.
Sell a car at a $5k loss, write it off anyway, and get something profitable in there for 2016.
