Nice shots! Also you are much craftier than I. 3D printing is way over my head
Correct. It should be fine until I decide on some new rubber hopefully.
I’ve never seen those before. Where do you get them? This repair just needs to last until I decide on tires. Shouldn’t be longer than a month.
I loved the story telling. Big ups! Keep it coming! I have never thought of a Prado as “light” but I suppose like many things in life, it’s all relative.
get in line. that is a long repair
They look like good tires and they aren't too much more expensive but there isn't a milage warranty through discount tire on them. That isn't a huge deal to some but I have never paid full price for a set of tires (after the first one) because they never last as long as they are supposed to. It is nice saving…
Yeah they look to be quite a bit cheaper.
This is great info! I am very open minded. It might come down to what goes on sale first.
I haven't known anyone to run them but I will check those out!
Good to know! I’ve been looking at them for a while.
Thank you. I have seen good feedback on MUD about these as well! They are on the list.
Good to know. Fortunately we don’t get a ton of snow here in Columbus (from what I have been told) compared to Detroit or Cleveland.
Thanks Rufant! Ronny’s opinion will not go unnoticed.
Yikes. Yeah for my size (which is a cheaper size) over $200 per. Thanks for the feedback though!
Thanks Dan! Yeah I am looking at Wildpeak A/Ts. Should be gnarly enough for now. Keeping the height of the GX stock for now. I’ll lift and move to 33's when I buy my wife a Highlander and I can throw a bumper with swing outs on the GX.
Great suggestion! Those are also $15 a tire cheaper in my size. The Faulken guys were super nice when I talked to them at Expo West as well. I got so sunburned the first day so they gave me this buff to protect my neck. Good warranty too!
