yes, that is a thing.
yes, that is a thing.
These are incredibly important points.
If this article doesn't win Madeleine a Pulitzer, it will be a tragedy.
But what did Costello and CNN producers think they were going to get when they booked her? A nuanced discussion on a very real and troubling aspect of life on college campuses? Please. Princeton Mom's whole view on women and relationships is straight out of a 1950s home ec class.
I agree that people deserve apologies, and should take an opportunity to let people know if they've been hurt and seek resolution. But like you said, people are still growing up in their teens and early 20s (although I'm far less forgiving of someone over 18 than I am of someone under 18).
There seems to be a massive uptick in people stealing packages lately. My sister had a box stolen from her front steps last week. The police came around and said a trio of ELEVEN year old kids had gone around the apartment complex and stolen more than twenty packages.
I think "large bottoms" is just code so he doesn't have to be completely and utterly blatant and say "Blacks" or "African Americans" or really show his, um, true colors and drop an N-bomb.
Sounds more like you're an asshole than someone breached the rules of common decency.
Look, some people have bad butt gaskets and can't help it. The older you get, the worse it is. Parts wear out, and for some people, they can do everything possible and the fart will still come out.
Maybe I need to go to bed but I just found this obnoxious.
Thank you. I tend to associate it with something that is pleasurably amazing, like a story about someone running into a friend in another country or a meteor shower. Not a murder.

Those lyrics are highly disturbing. Who would even listen to that song? Yikes.
The thing with cultural appropriation arguments is that everyone feels differently about it so it's hard to nail down exactly what's ok and what's not. Personally, I think it would have been one thing if Gwen Stefani had collaborated with Japanese musicians and artists and created a cool hybrid thing where everyone…
I completely agree with what janeka001 has posted. Besides that, Gwen could have co-written a song with a Japanese lyricist, sampled Japanese pop tracks, worn clothes by a Japanese designer, or otherwise collaborated with any actual people from the culture she claims to appreciate so much. But she didn't.
I just posted my take on this - it's probably still in the greys. I don't think there's a solid universal line. But when you think about the way that East Asian women are treated in the US - like they're shallow subservient little sex kittens for white male fantasies - and renaming a group of them and keeping them…
: Maybe a man with a history of race-based hate crimes should ~not~ be a police officer.
Hi. I've answered similar questions like this before but it has to do with photo rights and what images are available. If you have an OT question like this to ask, I'm happy to answer via email rebecca.rose@jezebel. Every third person who emails me gets a Tom Hiddleston gif. Tom Hiddleson gif not guaranteed under…
