Re: the sales slowdown and tax returns - I just had an email from a local Acura dealer offering MDX’s for $13k off MSRP across the board, every trim level if they close by March 31st. I had another Acura dealer send out similar messaging without specific prices. Both emails smelled a little desperate.

I donut see the problem?

Yeah, but they’ll talk shit about you for any references. So you don’t “have” to, but if you want another job, you damn well better.

It’s usually not legal at all, but it’s just not enforced. However, if some asshole hurt my family or worse with that shit I would definitely sue them into oblivion or worse.

I think the argument is that the healthier you are, the less likely you are to suffer health problems for decades before shoving off the mortal coil.

If they always mean to go in reverse why are they hitting these building so hard that airbags deploy and they ram through walls? Are they basically stating that if they didn’t accidentally put it in drive they they would have mashed the gas and backed up at 25 mph?

Thus proving what a mess McLaren truly is.

What a harebrained idea this was. You’re all fired, just kidding, you’re working, but without commission. Oh, and we need to keep those sales numbers high, which you’ll do because you’ll make more money...... for everyone but you.

What should happen is they make any compound available each weekend and try to map it out so the softest to hardest compounds have a speed differential that basically is close to total time difference including pit stop deltas. You’d see lots of different tire strategies, which would be fascinating.

It feels bad because you are a rational person that is capable of making rational choices, not letting a car manufacturer do it for you.

Right, I just figured he stuck to new cars, I never considered he worked on used car deals.

I never thought of him working deals on used cars, interesting.

Good work! Interesting that in reality the overall rate is significantly lower.

I have been to all those cities but Alburquerque and aside from small sections there weren’t many walk-able areas or many people walking.

This is actually a very good point. A lot of pedestrians are also fully engaged in their phones and that could also be a contributing factor.

Yes, Atlanta, San Francisco and probably Miami might be the cities that are in theory walk-able and have large populations and on this list. I was just in Atlanta last week for the first time in a few years and I found that it still is very much a driving city.

So two things -

Are property tax increases similarly capped for landlords?

Kid that works for me has a brand new SUV bought for close to $40k, which is about what he makes annually as his first job out of college. So that’s fine, right?

The players need to hit the next bargaining agreement with a mandate that if their salaries are public, so should the entire organizations, from the top down. That might help turn the tide on those “greedy” comments from the numskull gallery.
