You make an interesting point. It’s true that being a dirtbag with specialized skills lets you get away with more, and in reality we should always weigh the positives against the negatives. Someone that has highly specialized skills is usually deficient in other areas and if they are valuable enough accommodations

Yes, I have been a combo of lucky and selective. I don’t stick around long if there’s bullshit afoot. I would rather stay true to my moral compass and be poor than stay at a job that made me compromise my principals in any major way.

Who are the people that hear this guy spew bullshit for 15 years and just nod their head and go about their day?

CEO should put his money where his mouth is and recreate this exact scenario. He can be the person walking with the bike.

He is really red-faced about all of this. I know he initially gave an apology, but he took it back.

I don’t quite understand why this wouldn’t be considered libel or slander. It is a blatant misrepresentation.

Brundle is awesome, and it was the best when he was paired with Coulthard in the BBC days, but I don’t mind Crofty and Ted. I did like Will Buxton, but he was legit the only one on the NBC broadcast that I could stomach.

Here’s a pro-tip for shit-trading. Everyone thinks in terms of solid shits, sure, but what about diarrhea? You see if you split diarrhea up it is hard to tell if it is one shit or two shits.

If the apology is honest and sincere then a reply is not necessary. The idea is to acknowledge that you did something wrong or something you regret. You shouldnt require that someone responds so that YOU feel better. And if you are sincere in your apology you take 5 seconds to double-check that you spelled names

Nbc’s coverage was old men coughing up phlegm and getting confused. Sky’s commentary is miles better.

I had a lot of avavado puns ready to go and then I realized his last name is Haas, not Hass. This is just the pits.

Local affiliate news hands down. If aliens were intercepting our communications and for some reason only recieved comment feeds from our local affiliate news stories they would have to assume that at some point intelligent life invented internet technology and then died where upon some racist and homophobic primates

I think the bigger reason no one saves is because no one lives within their means.

You would have to factor miles driven with a population density statistic.

Not reacting is definitely the key, although personality definitely plays a part. I have seen my daughter (3.5 years old) take some truly painful looking spills and if we don’t react she just dusts herself off. We then high five and she goes back to whatever she was doing. She’s always been that way. My son (1.5)on

This is a good one.

I think he crossed the line. It is more than a little white lie.

Clearly you have not purchased life insurance. These guys could not get a regular policy with their profession. I am an office worker and my term policy for $1kk for 20 yrs is about $900/yr as a totally “healthy” person.

I named my daughter after Ayrton Senna. Is that why she is generally a sweet, loving person, but will suddenly switch into full on “i will win this argument/game/race,etc”? It is either that or she is 3 years old and 3 year olds are crazy little people.
