Also arguably the first FPS most kids ever played for hunting. Did anyone ever NOT buy 99 boxes of bullets?

Oregon Trail was my first RPG game... and it was introduced to me IN SCHOOL.
Xizor’s skyhook (the final level) was like a reward for making it through the rest of the game. You get to climb out of damn gun turret and actually pilot the Outrider around the space battle. Tie fighters, x wings, THE MILLENNIUM FALCON, and even a damn Star Destroyer that had a health percentage when you shot it,…
Oregon Trail was the best educational game I played in elementary school.
Who shoots a criminal bounty hunter with a gun trained on him first. Let’s not act like he was murdering sandpeople for fun. He can totally engage in a little proactive self-defense with Greedo and still be a good guy.
Don’t you talk about Oregon Trail like that. That game was something magical. I would give the characters my friends and family’s name then laugh when my friend tommy got malaria and passed away. Good times, way better than class.
Pretty much every other level of Shadows of the Empire was fantastic! The ones in between were just there to be traipsed through to get to the next fun part.
Tron 2.0 had a really fun lightcycle implementation, from what I remember. The rest of the game that I played was not so great.
I’d like to toss the NES Ninja Gaidens in there as well. Those were ridiculously difficult. I remember the neighborhood friends coming over for an NES gaming marathon, and we were determined to beat the first Ninja Gaiden. After hours and hours of getting our collective asses handed to us, we finally beat the last…

That’s showing intent to kill, even without factoring in lines like “Over my dead body.”/“That’s the idea.”. Han’s actions aren’t morally altered one bit if Greedo shoots first, second, at the…
Oregon Trail was awesome.
The all-seeing eye.
In Soviet Russia, stars gaze at you....
Finally, Putin's evil master plan comes to fruition.
What it would look like if the sun moved closer:
Pretty sure this is just what the sky is like in Russia, normally.
What happens on Vegas 4, stays on Vegas 4.
Only. Han shot only.
Pearl clutching over robot cars aside, they are on their way. It may take decades or a maybe a century but, with each news item like this, they are inevitable. They will be the first real robots many people will ever use. Driving will eventually become a hobby, not a necessity.
You know, just looking at the hardware we use, our physics experiments always look fundamentally bad ass. To the naive, this looks like a fucking faster than light motor! This machine, which is merely a gigantic array of detectors(!), and its giant, thick, brutal boxiness lets you know we are peering deep into the…
