I'm starting to use windows 7 Enterprise x64 at work.

I've had to renegotiate repair fees a few times. My current landlord wanted $50 for any repairs that had to be done while we were in the house.

That's actually a really good idea when traveling with expensive equipment. I've seen a few stories of people losing expensive equipment and this would be a cheap and easy solution.

@Phoshi: Actually it's not completele compatible is some latest reports are correct.

@Ursus Maritimus: Actually, in Michigan I can't leave beverages outdoors or they explode.

On a related note, my freezer in the garage stops working when it gets that cold. Any good reasoning for that? I've lost a lot of frozen food from that, luckily my otter pops just went back to liquid.

I use https, but only because our web filter at work doesn't work on https, so i can freely access my gmail account while at work.

Desktop for the power, storage, and graphics for gaming.

I use multiple variations of my name, initials, and my college ID's all registered at gmail. I'm able to manage them all through my primary account, and sort email I receive.

@lalov1: Some companys send their PC's with a recovery partition in lieu of a CD, hopefully this is the case with yours.

@zombies.like.lattés.too: In addition to that advice (sterilize sterilize sterilize!) I would recommend starting simply. With the kit in hand, you're set there, but a lot of people jump right into and try to clear a light lager or something and those beers are actually pretty difficult to get right.

@minealone6: I had to provide my mom with an RCA switch, basically took 3 sets of inputs and one output to the TV. Had a dinky little remote, but was simple and worked.

@joe.glass: I also believe this is the case. All the gawker blogs use the same format, and I dont think i've seen any others that are similar enough to be considered the same platform.

@GreasyDago33: First off, always pay it off. I personally don't like paying interest because I don't like giving away money. As a college student you probably won't get a great interest rate either, so just avoid it.

@Mark: Never used steady state, but I would recommend trying to get him a non-admin account for his system and have him do run-as for stuff he really needs. That usually inconveniences people enough that they stop installing every pop up virus protection that shows up.

@TheFu: I'm not entirely positive what it is you're looking to do, but you can probably leverage Scheduled tasks.

@DavinClytias: i hate to recommend it, but there is a proprietary transfer cable that allows for the direct transfer of data from one PC to another through the Windows easy transfer (on vista and 7).

@Terry: Did he the parts from restaurants closing and whatnot? Some of the guides i read on the subject said it's the cheapest but least reliable route to take.

@Crashman06: Congrats, hope it turns out as well as the sample! I'm like 4 months since my last brew, been busy and unmotivated to make more beer while I try to get in shape.
