@tad604: I thought so, which is why I thought it was a bit curious that the articles mentioned several times about the lack of use where cell signal is low.

@dagamer34: This would be a great feature, but I'd be a little concerned about data usage and bandwidth considerations. or rather the carriers would I suppose.

Seems the main qualm about it is the fact that it uses cellular data. If it goes to iphone 3G/S, i would imagine it could use the integrated GPS for the location and pretty much beat out the competition.

I've been sitting on my google wave account waiting for invites that i can share with my MBA groupmates and no results.

The George Foreman grill is also a great place to get some bacon working quickly. Drains the grease out and generally gets it the right kind of crunchy.

I was in the technical release program for office 2010 and it worked pretty well. They added quick splash screens for start up, kind of improves the impressions you get when you open an app.

I was taught to make something similar to this in the Marines.

@mattycakes: You should still be able to do a clean install that doesn't need to be performed in windows.

@ras07: If you disable data and enable wi-fi does it not get a connection at all?

@UnMicD: Homebrewing? Cost of entry is relatively low and it turns into beer! I picked it up and it turned into one of my favorite hobbies.

Something like this would be useful for small businesses to install a lot of default apps on their new machines. Medium size+ hopefully use some sort of imaging/deploying software, but I can think of a lot of times in my past where I would have loved this. #installer

I sit near my PC and media server in my office. That place gets warm. #heating

@kyre: I've been waking up to music for years now and will never go back to any type of buzzing.

@Andrew Mussey: Same here, I've got 2 and will be looking at going to Eyefinity for a 3rd monitor once the technology passes its infancy phase.

@mclifford82: Also a good point thank you. Part of why I want to do this is also to have something I can take with me to my next rental as well.

LCD TV mounting Question: I rent and have a 42" sharp LCD TV kind of chilling around the house right now. What I'd really love to do is get it mounted to some of pivot arm so it can pop out and face 180 degrees.

@lapillus: MY Western Digital mybook 500gb is ok for this, and the price was low.

@FamiCube64: You might be able to capture the windows partition into an image using a basic image capture software.
