This little gem from War Games. Mind blown.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of saphoo* that the mind acquires speed, the lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

Plus, if you walk without rhythm, you won’t attract the worm.

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

I really enjoyed MicroProse’s F-14 Fleet Defender.

Would David Tracy’s car be altered to be just a beat up Jeep with no mods?

I read the article, but I’m saying it anyway.

Thanks a lot ya jerk, now I’m going to have to spend the weekend talking myself out of visting Albany and buying that Fiero...

We are adults, can’t we wait until our kids go to bed at a normal time to STREAM a TV show? It’s not going to kill you. My wife and I always wait for movies to come out on home video (streaming/disc/etc) to watch them because we refuse to try to take our toddler to a movie theater.

Even though the article makes the case loud and clear multiple times, it bears repeating to people: THIS is why it’s good to talk about politics on video game sites. Because (surprise surprise) things that happen in the real world actually effect you in your little video game dungeons you lock yourself in.

When are we finally going to stop calling it the history channel, and start calling it the whack job conspiracy channel?

was this on the History Channel? (oh wait this was when HC still had actual academic credibility...?)

Look up the Davy Crockett. I think you will be pleased.
