I actually really like that concept (although I'll take mine with two regular sized bucket seats with a console in the middle, thanks). I'm surprised it has a manual transmission, though. Do "millenials" know how to drive a stick?

Anytime you lose a gear you are going to feel it. I assume you traded a six speed MS3 for a 5 speed Passat? I went from a six speed Mini Clubman to a 4 speed Corolla. It hurts.

Who's the lucky person that gets to ride middle in that Matra and straddle the stick shift?

My 1989 Jetta had an shoulder belt that was just attached to the door (not motorized) and no lap belt....just added "knee padding".

Don't forget the wagon! As a 30-something that's my dream....

Yeah, they weren't selling many of the VWs everyone has forgot about: i.e. Eos, CCs or Routans...

I'd go R-class, but S350 is also acceptable

you would not be alone.

Yeah it's stupid in the way that you could look it up faster than typing the question.

Looks swedish to me.

Don't forget the supercharger....

but you said it wouldn't be out in the middle of nowhere...also, wouldn't you have to commute anyway?

I'll bite..what is the alternative?

That BMW has both automatic rain sensors and adjustable intermittent wiper speeds!

Because of the safety of the sixth person without an airbag, would be my guess.

Just as long as you can't shift the gears for yourself, I'm good.

Not just you

that's all I could think about too!

slow news day?
