Worst. Winger. Ever.

Yeah, but there is something smug about convincing the state to give what looks like one full lane (sparsely used) to bicycle riders whose vehicles don't pay the gas tax that goes to build and maintain that road and that lane.

No no, it was even worse: a “My apologies to those offended,” which is that infamous backhanded “I’m not actually sorry at all.”

“Alright everybody. We’ve got a major smug system coming up from San Diego. When that meets the massive smug cloud from internet bicyclists... well, that smug storm could end the West Coast as we know it.”

Yep, definitely no problems with police anywhere else in the world.

Fact: Michael Johnson was the first Olympian I truly remember liking and being amazed at his otherworldly skill, in addition to me rooting for America. Glad to see he’s such a class act.

The ‘72 Dolphins could learn a ton from Michael Johnson.

Hot Take (for real tho): This is the most impressive record set at the Olympics

Weird, my TV was full of all those women AND Phelps for a good week. The gymnastics coverage was predominately the women. And it was fine.

Seriously, this just blew my mind.

Holy shit - this is just a straight forward informative post explaining the answer to an interesting question. Well done.

I think calling IMSA a shitshow is a bit harsh. I agree with your point that keeping cars to the same international spec is ideal - but I think they are working hard to do that now. They’ll have GTE and GT3 in weathertech, GT4 in conti, and LMP3 in Lites. And yes, DPi is not a pure LMP2 - but it is the right solution

DPi is only an issue because the ACO wanted to make the P2 class spec and kick out all the engine manufacturers IMSA needs to keep the series funded. It’s the best parts of DP (similar cars with OEM backing) and LMP2 (cheap, safe, and high tech).

Except the IMSA BoP, in general, is significantly better than WEC’s.

Protect your monocle from popping out, because I have about to say something shocking:

I don’t give a shit.

The road car production is for Panoz to qualify as a manufacturer who can build an engine and bodywork for the class. The rules are written for major OEMs, not boutique manufacturers. They want big OEMs who can advertise to support the series, rather than little guys who they prefer just run the cost-capped car.

As if it wasn't riddled with enough problems already, let's put a wankel in there.

Do people still think Bowlby knows what he’s doing? The guy is a much better salesman than designer.

I remembered when I played baseball I had a pretty standard routine for each at bat. First, I’d stand outside the box, tap the sides with the tip of my toe. I’d step in, line the bat up with the back edge of the plate. Then I’d swing at three straight pitches, go back to the dugout and cry uncontrollably until we were

I’m not sure it was really necessary to refer to the Cuban-born Sabates as a “minority” in this racist headline.
