Curious why the cyclist wasn't identified in the article. It's public information, isn't it? If he talked about the incident, then I think it'd be reasonable for him to ask the reporter to keep his name out of the story, but if he wants to act all sketchy and refuse to talk, his identity becomes important to readers.
