23 is when you think you’re adulting, but aren’t really. You don’t know shit until you’re around 30 and have actually spent a few years in the real adult world. She’s one year out of college, just starting out and has barely had any time to be adulting.

I totally understand that. My point was that Dunham built her entire name around her special kind of feminism, where she is always so BOSS. In her case, not only did she expect him to propose, but she publicly pressured him to propose. It wouldn’t have even been a romantic gesture at that point had he proposed.
