So true about Sanders. This is what I commonly refer to as Williamsburg Liberalism. I never said we should bench Maxine Waters. I think she should keep on doing what she’s doing. I just don’t think party leaders and every potential presidential candidate for 2020 should be jumping on this bandwagon. It’s far too early to tell how this plays with the larger public.

And yet, I still think Abolish Ice™ is a really bad idea. If you call for abolishing an agency you better have an alternative plan to replace it with.
