Um... Tesla is doing it just fine... (sorry forgot to bash Tesla and say Elon is a weenie... which is true but still... his network works)

COTD

I got mine because it was as quick as a Mustang GT and I could put 2 carseats in it. :-). But it didn’t have enough grip.

I had a base GT AWD on a lease steal for a couple years. It was JUST big enough to use with my two kids and be fun to drive. There were a couple things about the car that made no damn sense and undercut an amazing car. 4000 lbs, awd, 225 width tires... WHY???? Also, in a car that puts a premium on layout over

Because they are selling for over sticker. We had a 1.5 year old Telluride SX Nightfall that in a year and a half didn’t lose a dime to depreciation. So I cashed out and bought a Sportage Hybrid SX for the wife and put the $17,000 on my mortgage instead.  I have a M3P and a Bolt.  The Tesla is a fun summer and road

This needs to happen.  Why do we willingly let a country who is emphatically NOT our friend, have so much data about our young people.  Even planning a terrorist attack is made simple when you can tell when and where people are gathering 24/7 over years.  This is wretched enough when it’s our own companies spying like

It costs me 9 cents for a kilowatt hour where I live.  My Bolt gets 3 miles per kilowatt hour in winter and 4 in the summer.  To drive a hundred miles in the summer costs $2.25.  Even if you assume maybe 85% efficiency of the power going into the battery actually being stored... It’s still well under $3. In Pittsburgh

I don’t want to be another rich suburbanite doing REI cosplay in a Bronco.  I want this with 4 doors, some sort of removable roof panels and 250-275 miles of electric range.  Keep it small though!

I agree... I don’t drive mine in bad weather, it’s my fun take the kids out for a blast or go on a road trip car. I went out to check on where I keep it in winter and now it has Apple Music and a bunch of other features. I’m SURE there are lots of ways owning a Tesla can go sideways but so far I have to say that it’s

I think he’s right up to a point.  Something along the lines of a Tesla Model Y is probably going to be the default car.  If you compare it to a sedan, it’s got a sort of SUV vibe.  If you compare it to a 4Runner, it’s absolutely the death of the SUV.  Something like a 4Runner would probably lose at least 50 miles of

I’ve not seen the thing in person, but I’d bet a dollar that a 3rd row in the smaller model would still be the largest 3rd row in any non-minivan sold in America.  You can put 3 car seats in the center row of a minivan!

I’m a bit biased because I have an M3P - so I know the ups and downs of the car. But seriously, have you driven one? I get the panel gaps stuff - but do you know what car can do? Or what the software in the car does? The equation does change when all that stuff is factored in.

I might be the only American who says this but I would much prefer the short-wheelbase model.

I cannot read the word comeback and not think of Kim Kardashian.

Who don’t you like on Hagerty?

I thought both movies were wonderful. Why does it have to be a critique of indigenous groups and a white-savior group, instead of a movie that puts the lie to a lot of the mythologizing we capitalist-western-consumers? Western society literally broke his body and used his as a disposable replacement for his brother.

I’d definitely want to inspect the interior with a blacklight before making any sort of offer.

I’ll go ahead and make everyone mad, but this would be the PERFECT car to convert to electric drive when kits become more affordable and available.  It has a ton of charm in the styling, it’s a usable car for a trip since it has room and isn’t a punishing car for a road trip, and it also is something that in its

I think getting 14 calls is a bit much.
