A vehicles brakes will always overpower the powertrain.

No matter what happened, if they had been in a 200hp car they probably would still be alive.

I went to the original sources which indeed did not have them. The usage of [sic] here is actually incorrect, since [sic] is meant to be used when something is incorrect in the original and being left as-is. Considering both the original ad and statement were issued in the UK, where spellings with the extra u are

Sounds like you’re a real treat at parties as well. Let alone you’re failure to check your biases as you remain willfully ignorant of the conservation efforts put forth by the off-roading community.

Ha, what the hell is with the multiple “[sic]” notes here? That’s how they spell stuff over there. It’s perfectly acceptable.

Correct.

So that “bystander crushed to death” bit is because the author realized he didn’t dis the cops quite enough in the regular article.

If you think cars have anything to do with the temperature outside you have been brainwashed.

A phev uses 1/4-1/5 of the battery of a full electric. It can provide 90% of the daily use as full electric.

They are not messing with IRS. IRS has not-insubstantial drift rate and it is corrected by GPS. Without GPS updates, position will become less accurate. Moreso, if GPS data appears to be working but is being spoofed/modified then weird things will happen.

At this stage, what’s more likely is that they use GPS for primary navigation, but routing along airways rather than just going GPS “Direct to.” Then you tune your VORs as a backup in case of GPS errors. You can compare the two as a kind of check on each other; if they disagree, you know something is wrong.

We had porches on cars, they were called “tailgates”. Bring back a split tailgate that can drop down and give us a place to sit.

It is a civil matter occurring on private property

Or the sheriff’s department or state police since they’re one and two steps up from the local police.

It’s a great looking car, but what exactly is special about the liftgate to generate headlines? The opening is in the picture, but I really don’t see what the big deal is here that makes it neater than, say the opening and rear facing bench on a 2008 Chrysler minivan. Did I miss something?

That jumped out at me, too. So if you sue the Memphis PD, you can just go full Purge while it works its way through the courts and the cops won’t stop you? Something sure stinks.

I have a feeling that the company that gets the next round of contracts will be A2 Towing and owned by the same company.

What’s needed is for the lot owner to sign a contract with a 2nd towing company to tow A1 whenever they appear on the lot.

If a 36 year old besides a Verne Troyer or Brad Williams tries to drive one they deserve to be injured. Sadly this thing probably has better build quality than some Teslas.

Honestly surprised no employees of these predatory towing companies have been shot yet.
