This article goes on and on and never really details what the sponsorship issue actually is. Oh, they filmed here, then there was a strike, which is over, none of which is relevant to the story.

I know people are stupid, but are we REALLY that stupid? Makes me think of nosebleed seating for concerts or sporting events. Unless those ticket prices are like $10, what’s the point?

“...a $500 “general admission” ticket, featured no views of the track itself; instead, you’d hang out with a bunch of other F1 fans in a convention center and watch the race on TV.”

California always acts like they running out of cash. they make 100 billion more than the second highest state.

Looking at the track log, on final he was well over 100mph - roughly 30 over stall speed. Given that this aircraft type has a very high stall speed, poor glide ratio, and very poor stall behavior. He may have come in too hot, misjudged his approach, and landed too far down the runway. Whatever happened, it was most

That’s when you had competent leaders in LA and Cali. Now it’s just a bunch of self serving entitled clowns that always look to see how they can benefit before they lift a finger to help. i.e. Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom.

Blame Gavin Newsom & Karen Bass. Accountability must start at the top. Fire department response was less than ideal. Add Chief Kristin Crowley to the list of “needs improvement”.  Thankful there were not injuries or death associated with this fire.

Looks like all the ads left space for just the one picture. I keep coming back to this site just to see how much worse it can get. My expectations are always exceeded.  Well done.

Now playing

That’s a 4,300 foot runway and he shouldn’t have needed 1,500 of it at the outside. To have smoking brakes and enough speed to go off the end of the runway, through a fence, through a ditch, across two lanes of a divided highway and still be moving when he got hit on the far end is...curious.

Also, this is the guy complaining because he doesn’t get to take a picture in front of the Bellagio fountains on his last night this trip (as in he’s gotten this same picture a bunch of times before). Am I seriously supposed to feel bad for him that he can’t recreate the same picture instead of including the “special

I know this may come as a surprise, but not everyone lives in their parents basement and hasn’t gotten a raise at their dead-end job for 20 years. There are LOTS of people who make LOTS of money and don’t mind spending it.

Seriously. The first time I went to Vegas it was with a group of friends and we booked a 7 night trip. By  day 4 we were already over it (the excessive drinking didn’t help).

Who the fuck can even afford to stay in a hotel for 19 days anyways?

Longest I’ve been there was 4 nights. Flew in, two-day conference plus a golf outing and dinner at the end. I have never been more ready to get out of anywhere.

When David Foxx reached out to Jalopnik, he was on his 10th day of a 19-day vacation

When it’s dark, those lights, that car, and those fake decals will certainly look like a police car in the rear mirror.

I agree.

I agree, I think the idea is great but making your vehicle deliberately look like an emergency vehicle is a stupid thing to do. Too many stories about impersonators pulling over people and causing harm or using it to drive recklessly through traffic. There are just too many unstable people out their. Another thing

Good for the DeSoto County Sheriff’s office. There are enough wackjobs out there that allowing people to cosplay as cops is eventually going to end very badly. And if you’re making your bitchy comments on *FaceBook* then I have thoughts about you. Great sourcing, Colin, really first rate work.

But calling a trans person with gender dysphoria mentally ill is somehow wrong.
