City circuit grand prixs. They are the easiest to convince non-car people to come to.

But I don’t want to gamble on whether or not this dealership is good or bad. A Carmax is the same everywhere, and the same whether you are looking at a $90k car or a $15k car.

I personally hate negotiating and will pay more for the pleasant experience of having upfront numbers on my trade and the car I want to buy. It has been my experience that most car dealers do look at customers like “fresh meat” to be duped and taken for a few extra bucks.

I am going to bet these will plummet in value over the next couple years, much like AE86’s did. As cars with better performance (BMW 335, G37s) fall into the sub-$20k realm, no one will want to buy 25 year old models which have been worked hard all their lives by questionable mechanics.

The S2000 dash is really nice because it’s simple. The tachometer would be kind of annoying if anyone used it. However the V-Tech kicks in 2k before red-line. There is an audible change and the car gets a noticeable kick. After that you have about 1 second before red-line. Therefore, no need to look.

I believe it would. It would make the car marketable to more mainstream consumers instead of the enthusiasts and purists. I am looking to get a new coupe now. The BRZ and Miata don’t offer enough kick, the Genesis Coupe depreciates like a Hyundai, and everything else is $40k. If the BRZ had 250hp-300hp,I would

I have heard that too, however it has always been some what of an Urban Legend. I would be interested in seeing what the law/policy actually is.

Although that is true, people have been awful since the beginning of time and it is unlikely to change in the immediate future. But not leaving my car running in the driveway is something I can control and very effective keeping it from being stolen.

Does it still have the under steer “push” of previous generations/most Audis?

I see both sides. Sure mechanics should not be joyriding cars, but if these guys were on a test drive and just picking up lunch while they were out, it’s not a big deal.

It seems to me that the easy solution is to not leave your car running outside.

Have you ever seen Family Guy?

So a guy in an old, cheap BMW thinks he’ special and gets mad when someone proves he’s not. It is a wonder why there are so many jokes about pricks in BMWs/MBs/Audis.

I agree with you completely, though I wonder if the current era of computer designed cars has flushed out most of the first generation problems. Obviously high end cars with emerging technologies will always have hiccups, but this thing is more middle-of-the-road than an S-Class.

Probably slim, but I agree with you. I don’t need another $60k-$70k 500hp M3 fighter. At that price I might as well by a Porsche. Why can’t I get a 300-350hp turbo V6 with a manual transmission for $30k-$35k.

I like it. I appreciate anything outside the normal manufactures.

Is it coming to America? It would be nice to have a option outside the usual BMW/MB/Audi/Lexus players.

Anyone wanna place bets on the average sale price now that they can be registered? I’ll set the over-under at $35,000.

I never understood why there are no “slant back” humvees. I saw them all the time in movies and the news but they don’t seem to exist anywhere else.

I think $15,000 is just fine. I just need a car I don’t hate, if I hate it I will begin shopping again immediately.
