I don’t think anyone is going to read it that way. There’s literally no reason McHale would give a quote about that, speaking for someone else mentioned in the same sentence, and that’s a common way to lead into a quote anyway.

I chuckled pretty hard at Carrie Coon pointing out that, actually, critics love her, so why would she want to do them any harm?

Nice! I love her work, but I’ve never seen the original stage version of Fleabag in any incarnation. I’d be fascinated how is compares to the TV adaptation.

The big difference is that a Butthole cut would change the entire planet into a much happier and safer place to live, whereas a Snyder cut will just pour more miserable Superman into our already bleak existence.
